Irukandji Vivarium
Irukandji Vivarium evokes the temptation to touch. Alluring, beautiful but deadly, the ferocity and bluntness of nature is overwhelming yet intoxicating. The body and mind is unable to control the overwhelming embrace of the Irukandji as it consumes all our senses. Aware of the danger we choose to persist down this erotic path, where euphoria is only reached when we meld into one.
Irukandji
Rose Gold and Diamond Sculpture
Limited Edition - 10 Only
By Colin Burn
Artists Inspiration - “I was inspired by the sleek and dangerous Irukandji jellyfish with its erotic fluid opening and closing motion. The price for contact with this natural drifting beauty is a powerful sting, this erotic force is represented in the flowing design. The sculpture represents the balancing of pleasure through pain, along side satisfaction through healing. The feeling of the ocean is reflected with the glistening jellyfish tip over a textured sandy surface, meeting the sparkling waters edge. The sheoak handle offers the healing properties as natural remedies are often sort from the fruits and the smoke of native timbers.” Electroformed from pure 24k gold and finished in 18k rose gold, incorporating a solid 18k white gold band, pave’ set with 4 carats of flawless white diamonds.
Omens Drift
Photographic Artwork
By Aaron McPolin
Artists Interpretation - “Hairs standing on end, hands shaking, lips pulsating, all senses on the razors edge, fully alive, the kill comes along with euphoria, utterly consumed, enthralled, the moans as we meld and drift into one another. The omen, the unknown, a deadly vixen with no remorse, armed only with primal passion. I wanted to visually represent the jellyfish feeding on its prey, the pure intoxication when hearts are racing as the prey fights to survive, before the ultimate submission of giving its whole being to another.”
